Monkey Business on Saturday Spankings!

Happy Saturday everyone! Today for my snippet I'm going to share a little more of Monkey Business.

Last week, Summer was trying to explain why she hadn't driven her car to work, but it wasn't making a lot of sense. Ben, sensing something wasn't right kept pushing. Finally Summer admits that she couldn't drive because she'd been drinking at a club.

            Summer picked up her bag, it was time to get out of there. The look that Ben gave her was rattled her equilibrium.
           “Not yet.” He narrowed his eyes at her. “How old do you have to be to get into this club you went to Summer?”
          “Twenty one.”
          “How old are you?”
          “Almost twenty.”
          “Where is it?”
          “Where's what?”
          “The fake ID.”

Excerpt:

In this excerpt, Summer is trying hard to get to work on time with her friend Poppy in tow, but things don't go according to plan...

          Summer couldn't believe that they actually managed to get out of the house on time. Early even. She'd had a weird feeling that something was going to go wrong although she couldn't quite put her finger on what exactly that was. Maybe that wasn't unusual considering she if it was going to happen it hadn't happened yet. 

          “What's wrong?” 

          “Nothing really, I guess, I don't know. I was so excited about today and now I just feel weird, like something's off.”

          “Um thanks, I love you too.”

          “I didn't mean you Pops. I can't explain it.” The words were no sooner out of her mouth when Summer heard a siren behind her.

          “Uh oh.” Poppy said. Did you just run a red light or something?”

          “No. I've been very careful.” Summer carefully pulled over and waited for the officer to come over to the car.

          He tapped on the closed window. “Open please.” His voice was muffled through the glass but she heard what he said and was quick to comply. 

          “Is there a problem Officer?” she asked with a shaky voice.           “Im afraid there is Miss. License and registration please.”           Summer opened the glove compartment and produced both. She'd been listening when she was told to keep her papers close. 

          “Step out of the car M'am.” he said.          

          “Why? I didn't do anything.” Summer wasn't trying to be difficult and her tone wasn't rude in anyway, she just didn't understand, she'd been careful.

           “Step. Out. Of. The car.” 

           “I don't think we're being punked here Sum,  you better do it.”                   

           “You can leave the vehicle too Miss.”  

           “Am I in trouble?” Summer asked. “I didn't do anything.”          

           “This time.  Miss you have unpaid fines, your license has been suspended.”           

            “Oh no! The fines. I completely forgot!”           

            “I'm sorry Miss, but I can't let you drive this car until you pay your fines and have your license reinstated.”           

             “But I have to. You don't understand! I have to get to work.”          

             “I'm sorry Miss, rules are rules.” 

             Summer burst into tears. “If you let me drive to work just this once I can pay the fines and I won't drive my car again until I know the payments clear.”                     

              “No driving.”           

              “Can I drive the car?” Poppy asked.           

             “Do you have your license?” Summer looked at Poppy hopefully. She was going to be late on the single most important day ever. Tears rolled down her face. Not because Ben was going to be angry, although he was going to be angry, that was for sure but she was more upset that she'd let him down. Ben, Cher and everyone else that got involved in something that had been her idea.

              “Well not on me exactly.” Poppy winced at Summer, rubbing her friend's arm to try and comfort her.  “I didn't think I was going to need it but I promise Officer I do have one.” 

              “You can't drive a car unless you have your license on you.”           

              “Ok, here's the thing. We have a problem. A big problem. We need to get to the zoo and we need to do it quickly,” Pops said.         

              “That's your problem Miss, not mine.” 

              Summer just cried harder.  Not only were they late but Pops was going to keep arguing with this highway patrol guy until he arrested them.  “Pops, it's ok.”            

             “No I know it doesn't have to be your problem but I know that you wouldn't have chosen this job if you didn't want to help people. I can see it in your face. You have kind eyes. Very blue.”          

             “I'll ask you to close up your car Miss. You can get someone to come and pick it up or you can have it towed.” he said ignoring Poppy's compliments.

Cover reveal for Saturday Spankings! My first FF!

Hello everyone and welcome to Saturday Spankings! Today for the first time I'm going to share a snippet from my new Corbin's Bend series 2 novella The One She LOVES. We first met Carol and Crystal in Leading The Way. Please keep in mind that this is still unedited. 

In this conversation, Carol and her friends from Leading The Way are having one of their coffee sessions. The talk turns to pregnancy and birth. At first Carol is a little bored but then it dawns on her that she may have actually missed out on something by not being the one to carry her daughter or to give birth.  

“I felt instant love when Brianna was born.” She tried to keep the defensiveness out of her voice but it was hard. It grated on her when people assumed that she wasn't just as much of a mother to Bri as Crystal. There had been some resentment. Such a tiny bit that she'd been able to push it away when it surfaced. She had felt joy, but it had been Crystal's tummy the baby had been placed on the minute her daughter was born. It was Crystal's breast that she had suckled. When Crystal went back to work she became the Mommy but it was still Crystal's expressed milk that gave their daughter sustenance.

“And maybe that will be enough for you.” Sienna said. 

“Hmm.” Carol said. “You know what? I don't think it will. I think I would like to give birth.”

When Carol's three naughty friends from Leading the Way (4th in the Corbin's Series) see how disappointed their friend is, they help the young mom go on a sperm search with hilarious results. Only problem is, Crystal knows nothing about their hijinks.
Can a punishment fix this mess or will what Crystal sees as disloyalty tear them apart?

Saturday Spankings!

Back again and sharing more of my new Corbin's Bend Novella Leading The Way. Release day is next Wednesday! Yay!! In this snippet Erin and her new friends have been enjoying a little pot party at a the Boulder Lookout when some police officers come upon them. 

“Oh man, they look a bit…” Jen started, but lost her track.
“Hot,” Carol said. “I do love a woman in a uniform.”
“Yeah,” Jen agreed. “That’s why we’re with firefighters.” Both girls started to giggle and couldn’t stop, while Sienna and Erin looked on, not quite getting the girls joke.
“Stop,” Sienna said. “You’ll get us in even more trouble.”
“I can’t,” Carol said, laughing so hard that she slid off the roof and landed on the hood almost on top of Erin.
“What’s so funny?” Erin asked.
“Bob Dylan,” Carol said between fits of the giggles. “He’s telling us not to worry, be happy. But we are gonna be in so much trouble.” Erin started to laugh as well, and before long, Sienna joined in.
“They are gonna spank us!” Carol said.

Saturday Spankings!

HI everybody, it's been a while but I'm glad to be back and to finally have a new book to share. The first one since December! My release for my Corbin's Bend story Leading The Way, is coming up on June 11. Hope you like my snippet :)

The first slap always made her jump, even when she wasn’t in trouble. There was that initial sting and then warmth and tingles. Rather than dread the next one, she was waiting for it, needing it, sometimes wishing it was harder. Zach always started slow when he was enjoying himself, like he was savoring every smack, every wobble of her not so taught flesh. “It feels so good,” she purred as he started to pick up the pace. It was funny how the same act could bring on such different emotions. Yesterday she was in tears, wanting it to stop and today she was revelling in the same but kind of different pain. He stopped and she lifted her head. “Please don’t stop,” she begged.

Zachary Cunningham moved his family to Corbin's Bend when everything in their life seemed out of control. In a DD relationship with his wife Erin, he thought things had leveled out now that they lived in a community where everyone watched out for one another and discipline was the norm. Surely his family life could be more settled now.

Erin had never made friends easily and in Corbin's Bend she found it doubly as hard. A little too hard on herself, she ignored her mentor and any friendliness from neighbors; so afraid of making a mistake that she didn't try. Until her husband insisted. From bowling to a strip club to smoking a little weed, her life was definitely a lot more fun, even if she was hiding her activities from Zach.

When her husband and the board of Corbin's Bend discovered their indiscretions, Erin and her friends found out what public discipline really meant. When the discipline led to a larger sense of security and more friendships than she could have imagined, Erin began to understand that following Zachary's lead truly was the way.

It’s That Time Again! Saturday Spankings

It's that time again. Time for Saturday Spankings. Today I'm going to continue where I left off last week with The Man Of Her House. Alyssa, who tends to be a bit jealous at times, finds herself alone with Jesse's phone.

She fingered the edges of the phone. Here was a dilemma. She could take a peak in there because they trusted each other, so they had nothing to hide, right? That would be wrong. That would be so wrong. She tried to walk away, but she just couldn’t. The phone seemed to just jump into her hand. It was just lying there in her palm, like an early Christmas present just begging to be opened. If she were to just have a little look it would put her mind at rest, and then it would be worth it, wouldn’t it?
