Saturday Spankings Time

Hello everyone.. Welcome to Saturday Spankings.  Today will be my last snippet from  Leading The Way for a while. Next week, I hope I'll be sharing my new release, The Billionaire and the Waitress.

This week though I'm going to show what happened at the end of Erin's flashback to the pageant that lead her and Zach and the girls to Corbin's Bend. It is a little longer though, sorry.

ERin thought she had all her ducks in a row. Zach was away with some students leaving her free to take the girls to the pageant. There was no way that Zach would have to know right? Wrong.

Zach’s face was white with fury. “What is all this?” he asked. He looked into each of the girls’ faces. “Where are the sweet innocent little faces I kissed goodbye this morning?” he asked. Avvy started to cry and people started to discretely gather to watch the show that was building. “Please Daddy, don’t make us go home.” Erin cringed when Zach looked at her. His eyes were so filled with hurt and betrayal but his voice held pure anger. Anger at being put in the position of once again being the bad guy. “Sorry, Avery. I know you don’t understand why right now, but Daddy doesn’t think this is a place for children.” “No! Please Daddy!” Avvy wailed, “Please!” “Please, Zach. You’re making a scene,” Erin begged. “Just let them do it just this once, and we can go home and talk about this in private.” “If you think I’m making a scene now, you should see the scene in my head. No, I will not let my daughters stand up there looking twenty years older than they should, so adults that should have something better to do can look at them closely and judge whether they are more beautiful than the next child.” He scooped up the crying Avvy and took Jordan’s hand. “We’re leaving.” The subject had been clearly closed and she had no option but to follow her husband outside.

BLURB

Zachary Cunningham moved his family to Corbin's Bend when everything in their life seemed out of control. In a DD relationship with his wife Erin, he thought things had leveled out now that they lived in a community where everyone watched out for one another and discipline was the norm. Surely his family life could be more settled now.

Erin had never made friends easily and in Corbin's Bend she found it doubly as hard. A little too hard on herself, she ignored her mentor and any friendliness from neighbors; so afraid of making a mistake that she didn't try. Until her husband insisted. Having convinced herself she was doing what he wanted, she made friends with a few ladies who liked to push the envelope a little. From bowling to a strip club to smoking a little weed, her life was definitely a lot more fun, even if she was hiding her activities from Zach.

When her husband and the board of Corbin's Bend discovered their indiscretions, Erin and her friends found out what public discipline really meant. When the discipline led to a larger sense of security and more friendships than she could have imagined, Erin began to understand that following Zachary's lead truly was the way.

  7. I feel sorry for Erin's butt, but I'm really on Zach side in this.

  8. I think I have to take Zach's side on this too. Putting young girls on display, driving them to compete for beauty while other sit back and do the judging. I think girls can develop a complex problem when competing for looks at this age.
Erin, I feel so sorry for your poor bottom, but you must learn what the man says is law. Well, at least in Corbin's Bend.
Great snippet, Constance ☺ very thought provoking.
