New Year’s Eve Reflections

AS the end of this year draws to a close, like everyone else I find myself reflecting on the changes in  my life that occurred throughout 2012.

This time last year, my family felt like it was in limbo. We had Christmas as usual and my middle son gave us a lot of laughs by dressing up as Santa. This didn’t fool the kids one bit but it did made us laugh. For a while.

New Year’s Eve 2011 my eldest was in Afghanistan. I don’t think my husband and I slept a single night without the worry that he wouldn’t come back to us and his children in one piece. Luckily he did. We were one of the lucky families.

2012 saw the day my son came home…forever a highlight. I had my first book published. We found out we were going to grandparents again. I had my second book published and my husband had a major operation on his leg. My third book was published and we found out that the new baby was going to be a girl.

So on New Years Eve there are three of us at home. My husband is asleep after a long hot painful day, that leaves me and the eleven year old waiting to ring in the new year.

How do I feel? Happy and grateful that I still have one child at home that’s happy to bang a saucepan with me at midnight. Won’t be too many New Years left that I’ll be the centre of his world.

No resolutions for me this year, just a lot of thankfulness for my blessings and few wishes that my husband’s leg has healed well enough to have the plaster removed, that my granddaughter has a safe arrival and that the rest of my family have good health, happiness and the strength of character to make all their dreams come true.

Happy New Year to Everyone! May all your dreams come true xoxoxo :)

A Perfect Christmas (A free Christmas story)

A Perfect Christmas

by Constance Masters

Carol looked out of the window at the perfect scene before her. The rows of snow covered trees glinted in the moonlight, their reflection shining from the spectacular frozen lake. Yep, the outside was a frozen wonderland, picture perfect, unlike the inside which was about to become very heated and not from the homey warmth of the fire that crackled in the decorated fireplace downstairs in the living room. She sighed deeply and wondered just how much trouble she was in. Okay, so the fact that she was in the corner with her chubby bare backside on show...a bit of a hint. Carol winced as she caught sight of the rather ample target in the bedroom mirror. She really did need to lay off the full fat eggnog next year. And the cookies. As she looked back again, through the window at the peaceful Christmas card scene, her mind drifted to where it had all gone wrong...

***

She'd been preparing for the entire month for what she hoped would be the best Christmas ever. She was what her Mom would have called ‘A Christmas Person’. Most of her friends now shopped effortlessly, hunting for bargains on line, avoiding what they saw as the Christmas rush. Not many of them could tolerate the hustle and bustle, the pushing and shoving, let alone enjoy it, or revel in it like she did. Most didn’t even take their kids to sit on Santa’s knee. Carol didn’t care if she had to stand on the line all day. Listening to the whining and complaining were all a part of the magic of Christmas. She could tune her ears into the carols and bell ringing and ignore the rest. She loved nothing more than watching her kids as they barrelled along from one isle to the next, picking out choices for their lists. Once again, all part of the magic.

Unfortunately there were a couple of things that weren’t part of her magic of Christmas and they revolved around her husband Joe. Joe liked Christmas but he didn’t understand her need for perfection. The decorations that had to be positioned just so, with no two colours the same next to each other. No messy tinsel throwing on HER perfect tree, it had to be totally symmetrical from any angle in the room. HER star was placed firmly on the top of the tree and it sparkled and shone, proudly showing off its greatness to the rest of the room. There was mistletoe in every doorway and candles of deliberately chosen sizes and colours arranged on the mantelpiece. The stockings weren't up yet, they were waiting to be hung on Christmas Eve, but she had already measured the spots for the hooks so that they too wouldn’t let down the perfection of the room.

The greatest problem that her perfect Christmas had faced however was the dreaded budget. Joe was a stickler for not going overboard. He threw around words like indulgence and spoiling. Bah humbug! He'd set aside a fairly generous amount for each person, quite generous in fact for the children, by HIS standards. Trouble was he wasn’t counting in the, what Carol liked to call, ‘The Santa Claus’. The kids didn’t understand about budgets and being careful, they wrote a list and expected what was on there to be under the tree and no matter what the consequences for her would be, Carol had been determined to make that happen. HER children were going to have THEIR perfect Christmas.

***

Even though her naked bottom was suddenly tingling of its own accord as she stood in the corner nearest the upstairs window, Carol couldn’t help but smile when she thought of the helpful young man at the store. Now HE had understood how she felt about Christmas. See that’s the kind of personal attention you couldn’t get by shopping on line. She had been staring at the children’s lists and the money in her purse and wondering how the hell she was going to pay for all the stuff she needed to buy. She couldn’t disappoint the children.

***

Out of nowhere the young man with the flashy white smile had appeared like the Christmas angel and he'd offered her the perfect solution to her problem. The Christmas credit card. He'd taken a look at the children’s lists and patted her on the shoulder with sympathy as he produced the paperwork that would entitle her to a Christmas credit card with a very generous limit. The very best part was that it was foolproof, so he said. Joe had always had this idea that it was no good to shop with a credit card and have to pay it off with very high interest for the next half a year. Well this was WITHOUT interest. Well as long as you paid for it all by the end of the first month after Christmas and she had thought she had ages to think about that. She could always get a job if she had to couldn't she? Whatever. She'd been holding in her hot little hands the very festive looking answer to her Christmas dreams. She HAD felt a very slight twinge of guilt in the back of her mind but she pushed it back to be dealt with after. What choice did she have? Zachary couldn’t have possibly known that a Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle would be over two hundred dollars. Well, well over two hundred dollars actually but she never counted the spare change, it always made it seem so much less expensive when you rounded things down. And the DSI thingy that was apparently sooo much better than the one he had already. And what would be the point of a new DSI without new games. Well just a few at least. And for heaven’s sake! Who would have imagined that games in tiny little boxes like that could be over fifty dollars each? It had made perfect sense to get the package. And it HAD been quite expensive, so she really had to get the cover so it didn’t get scratched.

Then there was Natasha. She really did need that new IPhone. Carol could remember what it had been like to be thirteen. It would have been so embarrassing to be the girl with the outdated stuff. Of course, there hadn’t really been cell phones when she was young if she was to be honest, but she’s sure there was something they had that was similar. MMmm there was the walkman. You were a virtual out cast if you had a lesser brand than the walkman. Of course she knew that the IPhone could play music, but Natasha would need to save room for all her photos, so she’d need the Ipod touch and of course there was the fact that it could play You Tube videos apparently that would a plus. Of course she'd need an extra memory cards. She WAS going to use last years WII again with the new dance mat game, so that had been an economical choice, hadn’t it? And the beauty case full of makeup. Well maybe she was a little young but girls liked to be girly didn’t they?

The young man had fixed everything for her and she had managed to get nearly all her gifts bought in one day. She had been on cloud nine when she got home.

***

Carol had looked at the clock on the wall as she came through the back door for the last time and smiled. Only 2:00pm. It had of course taken her a few trips to get all the packages out of the car but she'd hoped that she would have enough time to get things hidden...put away before Joe got home. Wrong. Unless the stony faced man that was snooping through her shopping bags had been a figment of her imagination, he hadn’t been a figment of her imagination and he was home already.

And that was when it had all gone horribly wrong. The perfect Christmas ruined. There Joe stood already red faced and angry with a fist full of receipts in his hand, and he’d only gone through the first three or four bags. Carol had tried to discretely throw the last couple of bags behind the fridge but Joe had eyes like hawk....a very suspicious hawk when he was on a rant and he was about to be on a rant BIG TIME.
“Pick them up and bring them out here.” He said in a deadly quiet voice.
“Sorry?” Carol had said with a face that said she didn’t know what he had meant.
“Pick the bags that you just put behind the fridge UP and bring them out here!” he boomed.
Even the proud star on the top of the tree bent its perfect head.
Carol did as she was told, her head bent like the star with something akin to guilt, but more to do with the disappointment of her now ruined Christmas. As she stepped through the doorway she had a thought. “I’m under the mistletoe?” she called cutely.
The look Joe had given her had made her move much faster, thoughts of the mistletoe pushed clearly to the back of her mind to join the worry of how she was going to pay back the free credit card. Adrenalin had pulsed through her body bringing with it a serious attack of the butterflies. Her lower regions tingled with anticipation and trepidation. Not that she was scared of Joe, or a spanking really but there was something about being in this type of situation that made her feel kind of small.
As she reached her hapless husband, HE reached silently for the bags. She tried to offer an explanation first, but as a half a dozen sharp smacks bounced off her backside, lighting a less than festive fire, she was forced her to hand them over without any further explanation. It had seemed like an eternity until Joe spoke again, he had been clearly struggling to keep his temper under control.

“I know how much money I gave you to shop with.” He said quietly through clenched teeth. “Would you like to explain how you have over three thousand dollars worth of gifts here?”
Carol decided that she really wouldn’t....but the stamping of Joe’s foot told her that perhaps it was a rhetorical question.
“Would you believe it was kind of a miracle?” she had asked hopefully. Unfortunately, Joe took her hopeful answer as a smart ass comment.
“You really think it’s the best time to be a smart ass?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.
Carol was offended. “I wasn’t BEING a smart ass Joe!” she said.
“Well the only other explanation I can see is that you’ve robbed a bank.” He had said putting his hands on his hips. “Now I want a straight answer! Where...did...you...get...the money...to pay...for ...all these gifts?”
“But Joe, it WAS a kind of a miracle. You don’t understand.” Carol had said desperately. This nice young boy with lovely white straight teeth gave me a Christmas Card.” She thought she might leave the word credit out while she explained, she had had the distinct feeling that it may be the final straw, and nobody wanted that.
“Start again Carol, and please try and make sense.” Joe had said with as much patience as he could muster.
Carol took a deep breath. She had known that she was going to have to explain fully about the card eventually. She had hoped that they would make it through Christmas though.
“Carol!”
“Okay. Okay. See, I was in the store looking at the kids Christmas lists and I realised I didn’t have enough money to cover everything that they needed.” Joe rolled his eyes. “There is a BIG difference between WANTS and NEEDS Carol and you know it.” He had said with frustration.
Carol had barely resisted the urge to poke out her tongue childishly. “Maybe through the year Joe, but at Christmas, their WANTS, are my NEEDS!” she had said emphatically.
“Uhhuh. Get on with it. How did you pay for all this stuff?” he asked.
“Well if you’d stop interrupting me I’d tell you.” Carol had said bravely. It was actually a lot more bravado that actual bravery, but hey, anything to stall for a little while. Maybe there’d be a second miracle. “Okay, where was I?”
“Still somewhere fairly near the beginning I believe, something about a good looking young boy that doubled as a miracle worker.” Joe said drolly.
“Oh yes. So he offered me this card, it's kind of like...” she started but decided to take a step back first, no harm in paving the way in case a sudden escape might be necessary.
As if he had read her mind though Joe stepped forward to close the gap. “What kind of a card? It better not be the type of card that I think you mean.” He had said as he took hold of her arm to prevent any last ditch effort of an escape.
“Well Joe, there's credit cards and credit cards.” She'd said with a wince at the look on her furious husbands face. “Really Joe, this one has NO INTEREST! None at all.”
Joe ran a hand over his face, he'd wanted nothing more than to tip her over his knee that second and spank her ass so shiny that he could see his face in it, but he was too angry and he really needed to find out exactly what kind of mess she’d gotten them into this time. “Get me the paperwork you signed.” He said.
Carol had opened her mouth to speak and he had put a hand up to stop her. “Don’t even try to tell me that there was no paperwork. There’s ALWAYS paperwork. They’re not just going to let every crazy Christmas woman that enters the store walk out with thousands of dollars worth of goods without having them sign for it first. Get it. NOW!” he had bellowed when she had stood frozen to the ground.

She had suddenly found herself hunting through her purse for what he’d wanted.
“And just quietly there is ALWAYS INTEREST! Once the first month is up they double what the interest would have been on a normal credit card, which you know damn well you weren’t allowed to use.”

Suddenly that guilt that Carol had managed to push way, way back into the recesses of her mind started to surface. It had stirred up the butterflies that were already fluttering around frantically in her tummy. Maybe she should have read the fine print before she signed, she had thought nervously as she chewed on her bottom lip. She passed the papers over to Joe and took a step back.
“Upstairs.” He said. “Pants down and in the corner.”
Carol’s mouth dropped right open. “You expect me to stand in the corner like a child? Without my pants?” she had asked incredulously.
“And your underwear.” Joe had said without looking up from the papers. Carol had opened her mouth to argue but found herself spun around and sent towards the stairs with another sharp flurry of spanks to her jean clad bottom.
“Stop! I’m going.” She’d said with her eyes narrowed. Big bully, she had thought, but kept the insult to herself. Wisely, considering that Joe's mood.

***

Carol jumped and her mind came crashing back to the present when she heard the familiar footsteps on the stairs. She clenched her butt cheeks together involuntarily as she heard the squeak of the mattress springs as Joe made himself comfortable on the bed. She turned with a sad smile.
“Would it help if I said I was sorry?” she said.
“A little, not gonna save your ass though this time.” He said as he beckoned her over with a crooked finger. He patted the side of the bed next to him. “I rang the store. Do you even know how much money you spent today?”
“Um....” Carol said as she tried to quickly add up the figures in her head.
“Nearly the whole five thousand dollar limit.” He said seriously.
Carol gulped. She hadn’t realised it was quite that much.
“Why don’t I let you use the credit card at Christmas?”
“Um...because I have trouble keeping my perspective at Christmas?” she answered, hoping it was the right one.
“And?” he asked. Carol brushed away a stray tear that ran down her flushed cheek.
“We can’t afford it on one salary.” She said.
Joe took his wife chin between his thumb and forefinger and tilted her head so that he could look into her eyes. “Nothing's changed. How do you think we’re going to pay back all that money?” he asked. Carol brushed away more annoying tears and tried to come up with an answer but sadly she had none.
“Right. So tomorrow, you’re going to go back to the store and return a lot of the stuff that you bought today. I’ll help you choose which gifts we’ll keep.” Carol nodded. “That’s an excellent punishment.” she said hopefully.
Joe chuckled. “You wish.”
Carol sighed. “You’re still gonna spank me aren’t you?” she asked with resignation. It had been worth a try.
“Oh hell yeah.” He said as he gave her arm a small tug and tipped her over his knee. He brought his hand down with hard thwack.
Carol jumped. “Ow, Joe! Not so hard!” She yelled as she stuck her hand back for protection.
“Move it!” he said sternly. When she made no attempt to move her hand out of the way, he shrugged and brought his hand down smartly on each of her thigh’s, leaving a large angry handprint on each.
Carol made sure she pulled her hand back quick smart before she told him what she thought of his dirty trick.“That hurt Joe!” she shouted.
“Should’ve moved your hand then.” he said with a grin. He started spanking in earnest. Carol kicked her legs wildly but it didn’t help her effort to get away or the fast building burn that her husband’s hard smacks were building in her rear end.
“Please Joe!...It hurts...ouch...you’re do...ing it...Ow JOE! Too hard! PLEASE!!!!!” She begged.
But Joe just kept on spanking. The job wasn’t anywhere near done yet.
“Joe?...OW...Joe...for God’s sake JOE!” Are you even listening to me? Shit...Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch.” She yelled as a group of rapid fire spanks landed one after the other onto her very pink bottom. “JOE!!!!!”
“Can’t stop yet Carol, you’re not the right shade.” He said with a chuckle.
“Ow Joe...what the hell...ow, ow, ow, ow...are you...ow, ow...talking about?” she asked between deep gasps and sobs.
“The Christmas theme...just making sure your ass matches the Christmas decor.” He said as he renewed his task with great vigour. “We couldn’t possibly have your PINK ass messing up the red and green theme now could we?”

THE END

Merry Christmas

LOL Day 7

LOL DAY 7 !!!

This will be my first love our lurkers day. In fact until this morning I’d never heard of it before.

All of us have been a lurker at some point. We go from blog to blog enjoying what others have to say and nodding our heads. Often we just move on to the next one quietly without saying a word. Maybe that’s because we don’t want anyone to know we’re here, or maybe we don’t think what we say matters or we think that people will judge us for having an opinion.

Whatever your reason, we just want you to know that we love you for reading and whatever your opinion is or where your from or who you are, we’d love to hear from you. So please leave a message and tell us who you are, what you like and roughly where your from. How does spanking fit into your world? If you don’t want to use your real name, make one up!

The first time I actually posted something on a forum was one of the most freeing experiences I’ve ever had. You can never have too many friends, and it’s nice to feel a part of something.

The Next Big Thing: Authors Tagging Authors

I’ve been invited by RAEANN BLAKE to participate in THE NEXT BIG THING: AUTHORS

TAGGING AUTHORS.

The idea is that every author tagged answers ten questions about their current work in progress before tagging five other authors who do the same. These are my ten questions.

What is the working title of your book?

The working title of my book is “My House My Rules.”

Where did the idea come from for your book?

As with most of the ideas for my books I just woke up one morning with the characters in my head. I can’t say I really had a plot, but I had a general idea who the characters were and where they would end up.

What genre does your book fall under?

I would say my book is a Romantic Spanking story. It would be listed in Amazon as erotica. It has romance humour spanking and some erotic scenes.

What actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

For the female lead of Alex, I would probably choose someone like a 29- 30 year old Reece Witherspoon.

For the male lead of Jay, I would choose someone like Channing Tatum, although a couple of years older maybe.

The two little boys, Aaron and Thom I would have played by Max and Brock Charles respectively.

What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?

Alex’s thought she would never love another man and nothing seemed to matter, until Jay came along and changed her world.

Will your book be self published or represented by an agency?

This book will be published by Stormy Night Publications.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

It took about a month to get the main part of the manuscript written but I still have to add a chapter or two to the end.

What other books would you compare your book to in your genre?

I don’t think I’d like to make comparisons to another book. I can’t really think of any that would fit the same theme and style anyway.

Who or what inspired you to write this story?

I think I’d have to say the characters themselves. They came first and the story came after.

What else in your story will pique readers' interest?

I think the romantic elements, the humour and of course the sex scenes. Most people that read my stories like the spankings. I will say though that although there is both spanking and children in this book, no children were spanked in the making of this romantic novella.

I hope you enjoyed a quick glimpse into My House My Rules, thank you Raeann for tagging me.

The authors I have tagged are people I have met on Twitter that are always ready to offer support and from the Spanking Fiction Authors Triberr group.

Here is my story…

The Devil Made Me Do It

“Come on!” Jenny said to her whining sixteen year old daughter as she poured packets of candy into a large bowl. “Daddy said no. You're grounded. End of story.”
“It can't be the end of the story Mom!” Hannah wailed. “Besides, Daddy's working. He'll never know. I could be back before he even gets home.”
“Hannah, you can whine and plead all you like but you know that if your father found out I'd let you go, there'd be hell to pay.”
“There's no WAY he'll find out! You said yourself he never gets home from these business dinners until the early hours. Please Mom, if you don't let me go to this party I'll be a social pariah! My life will be over!” Hannah's eyes filled with tears that swelled and formed big drops that balanced precariously on the edge of her long lashes. “Mommy PLEASE!” The big drops fell and ran slowly down her face, taking with them trails of mascara.

***

“I'm sorry honey.” Jenny said. “I know you can't see it right now but there WILL be other Halloweens and lots more parties. I promise. You can help me pass out candy to the trick or treaters.”

Jenny sighed and held her arms out to her daughter as she tried to harden her heart. Hannah ignored them and stomped off to her room making sure to thump her feet down on each step as she went. Before she got to the top she turned and gave her parting shot. “I thought you were different.” she said dramatically. “I thought you were the cool one. So did my friends. Won't they be surprised?!”

Jenny jumped when Hannah's door slammed shut. Maybe they were being too hard on her, she thought.

***

Phone in hand she went out onto the patio where she wouldn't be heard. “Mark?” she said as he answered.
“Hi.” Her husband could tell by the faltering tone in her voice that she was about to plead their daughter's case. Again. “Problem?”
“She hates me Mark. Well she probably hates you more but you're not here so at this very moment' she hates me.”
“Look, I'm not changing my mind. Our Hanny is getting out of control. She's broken the rules over and over. Driving her friend's car without a licensed driver beside her and getting a ticket, was the last straw.”
“She said she was sorry.” Jenny said. “I really think she meant it this time.”
“She also said it was an emergency.” Mark said pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Well to a sixteen year old girl it probably was.”
“Having to drive to the mall ALONE, to get more hair dye because Casey didn't buy enough, is NOT an emergency!”
“But Casey couldn't go...she already...”
“Stop right there. I'm not going through all this again. She didn't have to miss the party. YOU were the one that insisted that she was too old to spank. We agreed.”
“Sort of.” Jenny said sullenly.
“We agreed that she needed to be punished and since you WOULDN'T agree to a proper punishment, I had to decide. I did and I'm NOT changing my mind.”
“Fine.”
“Yes it is fine.” he said ignoring the pout in her voice. “Just so you know though, I can hear your mind ticking from here. If you let her go to the party, SOMEONE will be getting spanked and it won't be Hanny. It's up to you to be the adult.”
“Fine.” Jenny repeated sulkily.
“And don't pout.”
“I'm not.”
“Yes you are. No one ever died from missing a party you know. Even on Halloween.”
“I better go.”
“I love you.” Mark said.
“I love you too.”

Jenny looked sadly up the stairs as loud irritating music blared through the closed door. Where had her happy baby girl gone. They'd always been so close and now it seemed like they were strangers. She had to have one more try at fixing this.

“Hanny!” she shouted over the top of the thumping music.
“Go away.” Hannah shouted back.
“Please Hanny. I just want to talk.”
“There's nothing to say.”
“Oh Hanny. I hate fighting with you like this.”
Hannah opened the door but stood there sullenly. Her arms were folded stubbornly and her eyes were looking anywhere but at her Mom.

Jenny didn't know what came over her but the words seemed to creep out of her mouth of their own accord. Maybe it was a ghost of halloween or something. “If I let you go Hanny you have to promise me you will NEVER drive by yourself again until you get your license.”
“I promise Mommy! I love you! You're the best Mommy in the whole world!”
“And you have to be back here by midnight.” she said. “Just in case your Dad gets off a little early.”
“I will, I promise.”
“What about a costume?” Jenny asked. She couldn't help it. It was wrong and she knew it but the look of elation on her daughters face made her heart leap.
“I'll get changed when I get there.” Hannah said. “That's half the fun.”
Jenny sighed, a little disappointed that she couldn't share in getting her baby ready. “You're sure that Lianna's parents will be home?”
“Yes Mom. They will be, I promise.”
“What's your costume?” Jenny asked.
“A bad fairy.”
“What does a bad fairy wear?”
“The same as a good fairy sort of...only black.”
“OH. Ok grab your stuff. I'll give you a lift.”

Several hours later Jenny opened a chocolate bar and nibbled on it. The trick or treaters had finally dwindled and she felt safe to sample what was left. She loved Halloween and all that went with it. They'd only been blessed with the one child and she had loved the years that she'd spent planning a costume and then making it for her little princess or fairy queen. Even the year she'd insisted on going as a witch she managed to make her the prettiest little witch on the block. Jen tried to picture Hanny dressed as a bad fairy. Nope, no picture came to mind, just a younger Hanny in a pink tutu with sparkly wings. She was broken out of her reverie by the rumble of her phone in her pocket.

“Hi honey.” she said, recognising her husband's ring.
“Hey. Guess what. We got the account.”
“That's great!” she said, genuinely happy for him. “So you going to celebrate?”
“I sure am.” he said. “I'm going to bring home some chinese food and spend Halloween with my wife and daughter. We haven't spent nearly enough family time together lately. Maybe we can talk Hanny into watching a scary movie with us.”

Jenny felt cold fear and panic wash right through her.
“Jen?” he said.
“That's great.” she managed to squeak out finally. “Really great.”
“You don't sound like it's great.”
“Um...oh of course, it's a wonderful...surprise.” she said. “I was just thinking that Hanny's in such a bad mood, maybe we should just let her sleep.” Then maybe I can sneak her in later, she thought.
“I don't think that's such a good idea. We need to connect with her more. Reopen the lines of communication.”
Fuck, Jenny thought. “Maybe. When will you be home?”
“Just have some paperwork to tie up.” he said. “About an hour, I'd say.”
“ 'Kay then.” she said. “I'll get everything ready.”

She shut her phone, grabbed her keys and tore out the door. As she drove towards Lianna's house she dialled Hanny's number. “Come on Hanny, answer please.” she said to the empty car. Nothing. Finally she screeched into Lianna's driveway.

“Hi Katie.” she said when Lianna's Mom answered the door. “I need to pick up Hannah.”
“Oh I'm sorry, they aren't here.” Katie said.
“Not here?” she said in a panic. “Where are they?”
“They went trick or treating. There was a whole bunch of them. They wanted to go later, you know in the dark.”
“Oh God. Do you know which way they went?”
“Not really. They promised to stay in a three block radius though. They're sixteen Jen. They can't get into too much trouble on foot.”
“No...but...look there's no other way to explain this. Hanny is grounded and I wasn't supposed to let her go. Mark was working late...”
“Oh...and now he's not?”
“Uh huh. I need to get Hanny home. Fast.”
“Look, you go home and try and buy some time. I'll look for the kids and I'll bring Hanny home.”
“Oh would you?” Jenny said gratefully. “You're a life saver.”
“No problem.” Katie said. “Todd would skin me alive if I found out I undermined him like that.”
You have no idea, Jen thought. “Thanks. I owe you one.”

Jenny raced through the front door, eternally grateful that they hadn't been toilet papered. Leaving the house unattended on Halloween wasn't the smartest move. She raced into the house and glanced at the clock on the wall before grabbing some plates out of the cabinet and dumping them on the table. Glasses and silverware followed and finally some cute pumpkin candles. She'd never set the table so fast in her life. Her heart was beating ten to the dozen as she dialled her daughter's number for the tenth time. Still nothing.

Jenny ripped open her closet and pulled out a costume she'd bought just in case. It was her only chance. Distraction. If she could convince Mark that they were better spending some quality time together instead of forcing a sullen teenager out of her room...it might just work. She could get him up to the bedroom and sneak Hanny back in. After pulling on a red leather thong, the harried housewife squeezed herself into the skin tight red and black sequinned minidress with a long red tail that was part of her sexy devil costume. She teased her hair and applied heavy make up with bright red lipstick. Just as the headband with the devil horns was attached to her hair, the man of the hour pulled into the driveway. Jenny took the stairs two at a time, forgetting all about the clothes she'd been wearing with the phone in her pocket. “Here goes nothing.” she said.

Katie tried to call Jenny's cell for the fifth time but it just kept ringing. She'd driven up and down every street and there was no sign of the kids. She didn't know what to do. She'd go around one more time and then she was going to have to go get her husband to help, after all it wasn't just Hannah that wasn't accounted for now, it was every kid at the party. She couldn't believe they'd done this. They promised!

Mark stood in the doorway, his arms full of cartons of chinese and his mouth agape.
“Nice.” he was finally able to choke out. “Very nice.”
“You like?” Jenny asked him as she posed provocatively from the stairway.
“Oooh I like very much.” he said huskily. “But you can't wear that around Hanny.”
“Hanny won't be joining us.” Jen said, trying not to lie.
“Oh? I though we agreed that it would be nice to spend some family time.”
“Yeah, I know that was the plan, but Hanny's been in a mood all day and she finally fell asleep. I thought you might like to spend some alone time with me.” Jenny said, swallowing the lie while she tried to perfect a sexy pout.
“Maybe you're right. I got your favourites. I'm starving.” he said wandering over to the table with the food.
Jenny blew out a frustrated breath as she followed her husband into the dining room. Time was of the essence here, Hanny could be back at any moment. “I'm really not very hungry yet.” she said trying to keep the panic out of her voice.
“You ok?” Mark asked.
“Fine. I just thought we could go upstairs?” she said, striking yet another sexy pose.
Mark gathered his wife in his arms and kissed her deeply. “Nothing I'd like more but honey I really have to eat. I didn't have lunch and I was so busy trying to push through the deal so I could get home, that I only picked a little. It won't take long.”
“Ok.” Jenny said. She started opening the cartons so fast that she nearly knocked over the candles in the process.
“Careful.” Mark said. “What's brought this eagerness on? Not that I'm complaining.”
“Nothing, I um, I've just missed you lately is all.” That was the truth wasn't it?
“I've missed you too.”

Jenny did her best to swallow some of the food, but she was worried. She hadn't been able to coax Mark away from his dinner yet but more worrying than that was why Hanny wasn't home, and why Katie hadn't rung. Suddenly it dawned on her. Her phone! It was upstairs. “I'll be right back.” she said pushing her chair back and tearing up the stairs.

***

Mark sat back in his chair. Was that red thong under his wife's very short skirt leather? Suddenly food was the furthest thing from his mind. Her skirt had ridden up while she was sitting and as she ran off he'd been treated to a fine view of her virtually naked bottom. The sight of his wife's still perky round cheeks aways pleased him to say the least, but framed in that sexy thong...

Unable to resist Jen in that costume any longer Mark followed her up the stairs and was just about to enter their bedroom when he heard muffled voices. Jen was listening to her phone messages. Why was she was acting strangely? He couldn't quite catch what was being said but the hair stood up on the back of his neck. Something weird was going on around here. Before he could get to the bottom of it the front door bell rang.

***

Jenny could feel perspiration beading on her forehead as she listened to each progressively panicky phone message. By the time she got to the last one, a shiver involuntarily rippled through her and she sunk onto the bed. “I'm a dead woman.” she said. As she tried to put together another plan the doorbell rang.

***

“Hannah?” Mark said squinting at the the person who seemed to be his daughter. His eyes went from the heavily made up and scantily clad young girl to the policeman that was standing behind her and then back again to the girl that was supposed to be asleep upstairs.
“Hi Daddy.” the girl said sheepishly.
Yep it was her. The voice was the same, but that was about all. Her long red curls had been teased out and sprayed with some kind of glitter. Her eyes were ringed with black eyeliner and dark eyeshadow. That didn't bother him too much, it was Halloween, but the outfit? Her outfit was like a fairy dress about four sizes too small....and it was black. Her legs were covered, well not exactly covered, the were clad in fishnet stockings with big rips in them...he dreaded to think what they looked like from behind...and she was taller. The SHOES! Was his little girl wearing hooker heels?
“What the hell are you wearing?” he asked finally.
“I'm a bad fairy. I'm sorry Daddy.” Hannah managed to say before bursting into tears.
The policeman coughed. “Because it's Halloween sir there've been no charges laid.”
“What?” Mark said. “I'm sorry? Charges. She's grounded. She wasn't even supposed to go out.” he tried to explain.
“Apparently she did anyway Sir.” the young cop said. “We picked up Hannah and a group of her friends as they were defacing a house. Like I said, it's Halloween and it's been a long night. I suggest you keep a better eye on your daughter in the future.”
“I...yes officer...I will.” he said. What else could he say.

He shut the door and stared at his daughter. “Get upstairs.” he said. “I'm too upset to even talk to you at the moment. And wash that stuff off your face!”

***

Jen watched from the top of the stairs as all of her carefully planned lies crashed down. She was taken aback by the outfit her daughter was almost wearing. While she'd tried earlier to picture Hanny's costume, she didn't dream for one minute that it would be ANYTHING like this. Suddenly her daughter was running towards her and she couldn't get away.
“Mother!” she said her face distorted with disgust.
It dawned on Jen what she herself had on. What a mess. “Don't you worry about me young lady, I'm an adult!” she said channeling her mother at last. If only she'd channeled her earlier and said no to the damn party. “You better go to your room.”
“Good idea.” Mark said as he headed up the stairs to join them.
Hannah ran and shut the door quietly behind her.

Jen winced under her husband's stern glare.
“Seriously?” he asked in a deadly quiet tone.
“I'm so sorry.” Jen said.
He grabbed her arm and marched her into their bedroom and slammed the door. “What were you thinking?”
“I wasn't.” she said.
“Did she sneak out or did she go with your blessing.”
“The latter.” Jen said. She would never throw her daughter under the bus to save herself.
“Well that's it then. I told you what to expect.”
“But she hated me. Really hated me and the words just slipped out. Really.”
“Firstly, she wasn't hating you, she was manipulating you. It worked apparently.”
“I know that now.” she said. “That costume was...”
“Inappropriate to say the least.” he said. “I'm so angry at BOTH of you, but mostly you.”
“I'm sorry that I lied.”
“Uh huh. You will be.” He towed her to the bed and sat down before upending her over his knee.
“What are you doing? You can't!”
“I think what I'm doing is PAINFULLY obvious.”
She wriggled and squirmed with all of her might in an effort to get off his knee but to no avail.
His hand came down with a sharp spank on her right cheek. She sucked in a huge breath to keep from yelling out. “Stop!” Jen hissed. “Hanny'll hear!”
Mark rolled his eyes. “Hmm.” he said grumpily.
His pause gave her hope that he might grant her a reprieve...not for long. A line of fire exploded across both quivering cheeks.
“What the fuck?” she let slip as she did her best to spin around and see what he was using.

***

“Watch your mouth!” he grumbled as he swung the end from the plastic pitchfork across her almost naked bottom. He had to admit that her naughty costume provided a very pretty target. The pitch fork was a stroke of genius. It was light and silent and stingy enough to have his wife wriggling desperately. A fact that made it extremely difficult to keep his mind on the job as his pants tightened around his swelling manhood.
“It's not my mouth I'm worried about!” she said, allowing a squeak to escape. “That thing hurts!”
“Sush.” Mark said. “I told you you would get spanked.” he said flicking the plastic stick across her burning bottom several more times. “AND, I will not tolerate you lying.”
“I'm sorry.” she said. “I'm really really sorry. I won't give in to her again, I promise.”
“You better not.” he said, striping her bottom with more stinging licks.
“And...I...won't lie.” She sobbed pitifully, when the spanking finally stopped.
“Good.” he said. He rubbed her back soothingly, offering the comfort she needed. When her sobs turned to hitched breaths he helped her to her feet and pulled her into his arms.
“What about Hanny?” she asked.
“Hanny will be lucky to see the outside of this house by Christmas.”
Jenny nodded. “Are you still angry?”
“No. You're forgiven.” he said squeezing her warm, well spanked cheeks. His bent to kiss her sweet lips and then trailed his kisses along her jaw line and down her neck. “I do like your costume.”
Jenny giggled. “I think you broke my pitchfork.” she said. “It's all bent.”
He chuckled. “I'll get you a new one. I think I like it.” He dumped her onto the bed beside him and peeled up her tight dress enough to hook his fingers in the thong and deftly removed it. “I KNOW I like these but we won't be needing them.” he said. “You tricked me, now it's time to treat me.”

Mark smiled at his wife's sharp intake of breath as he slid into her, pressing her stinging ass cheeks firmly into the bed. “Something to say? He dared her.
“Happy Halloween.”
